A serene early-morning experience combining kayaking along the rocky coastline, snorkeling over coral reefs, and enjoying a delicious breakfast on a quiet beach.
Begin your day in the most magical way with our sunrise kayaking and beach breakfast experience. This intimate early-morning tour is designed for couples, families, and small groups who want to experience the tranquility of Salalah's coastline before the rest of the world wakes up. The tour departs before dawn, allowing you to paddle across calm, glass-like waters as the first rays of sunlight paint the limestone cliffs in golden hues.
The kayaking route follows the scenic coastline near Taqah, where dramatic sea cliffs, hidden coves, and natural rock formations create a spectacular backdrop. As you paddle, you may spot sea turtles, rays, and schools of colorful fish in the crystal-clear waters below. Our experienced guide leads the group to a secluded beach accessible only by water, where a traditional Omani breakfast awaits: fresh flatbread, local honey, dates, labneh, and Arabic coffee brewed over an open fire.
After breakfast, the group enjoys a snorkeling session over the healthy coral reefs near the cliffs, where tropical fish and sea turtles are commonly spotted. The tour concludes with a gentle paddle back to the starting point as the morning sun warms the coastline. This tour operates only during the winter season (October to May) when the seas are calm and clear.

All our private tours are tailored specifically for your group. You will have a dedicated local Omani guide who also acts as your driver, providing a comfortable, informative, and private experience. The schedule can be adjusted dynamically based on your interest, walking pace, and weather conditions.
We utilize modern, clean, air-conditioned 4WD vehicles (such as Toyota Land Cruisers or Nissan Patrols) for all mountain and desert safaris. Sedan vehicles are used for standard city heritage tours. Child seats can be provided upon request at no extra charge. Our drivers are trained in off-road sand driving and mountain pass safety.
When visiting religious and local heritage sites (such as the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque or local castles), strict dress codes apply. Both men and women must cover their shoulders and knees. Women must cover their hair and wear full-length sleeves and trousers/skirts when entering the grand mosque. Modest swimwear is acceptable at private resort beaches, but shorts and t-shirts are recommended on public beaches.
Dhofar experiences two distinct seasons. The Khareef monsoon (June to September) features near-constant light drizzle, mist, and cooler temperatures. Hiking paths can be muddy, and waterfalls are active. During this season, sea swimming and boat cruises are completely suspended due to rough waves. The dry winter season (October to May) offers warm sunshine, blue skies, and calm seas, which are perfect for snorkeling, diving, and desert camping.
We recommend booking at least 3 months in advance for the peak Khareef season (July and August) due to exceptionally high demand. To secure your reservation, a deposit may be requested. Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the tour departure are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours or no-shows are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
Our prices are calculated per vehicle/group (up to 4 travelers). This offers excellent value for families and couples, as you get a private guide and vehicle for a flat rate.
